This exceptional savonette pocket watch by A. Lange & Söhne impresses with a smooth, stepped case in the Louis XVI style. The three-part white enamel dial with gold Louis XV hands radiates timeless elegance. Inside is a gilt 3/4 plate movement of DUF quality, equipped with a Glashütte gold lever escapement, a compensation balance with Breguet hairspring, a swan-neck fine adjustment as well as crown and ratchet wheels with the typical Glashütte sunburst finish. The watch has a practical lever setting mechanism for setting the time. The movement and case numbers are identical and underline the authenticity of this exquisite watch. A true masterpiece of Glashütte watchmaking.

Condition & Warranty:

The watch is in very good overall condition for its age. It has been completely overhauled in a master watchmaker's workshop and runs perfectly. We grant you a two-year guarantee on its perfect functioning from the date of purchase.

The case has been left in its original condition and shows light to normal signs of wear, including small to medium scratches. The dial is in very good condition, free of cracks, with discreet, unobtrusive patina fragments that emphasize the antique charm. The Plexiglas shows only a few, barely visible mini-scratches. Overall, an outstanding condition for an antique pocket watch of this era.

The lever handle should always be used when closing the spring lid. This protects the mechanism and prevents further scratches caused by the sharp spring claw that holds the lid closed. With these precautions, the antique clock will remain in perfect condition and will give you many years of pleasure.
